McGinn hosts coal train workshop

Mayor McGinn -- in conjunction with the Sierra Club, Puget Soundkeeper and Earth Ministry -- will host a coal train workshop tomorrow. The community workshop will be Wednesday, Oct. 9 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church (6512 23rd Ave NW).

The workshop will cover the coal export proposal in Longview, Wash and how the Puget Sound will be affected. The coal export hearing in Tacoma on Oct. 17 will also be covered.
